Avebury Logic has, in the recent past, partnered with DVS Solutions Inc., USA (formerly, WAN Systems Inc.) to provide and support a comprehensive network management system solution for Alcatel, USA. The South-East Asian nation-wide network, to be managed by the NMS, comprised of a broad spectrum of telecommunication equipment. DVSS has a wide domain expertise in the telecommunication services area and with Avebury Logic providing the project execution capability, the customer received an excellent solution at an enviable price point.

These devices were managed using different industry-standard management protocols providing all the FCAPS features.

The NMS front-end was written in Java Swing and incorporated visualization components, JTGO, from ILOG to provide TMN standard visualizations. The Remedy trouble-ticketing system was also integrated into the NMS so as to manage service outages and customer service requests.

Alcatel has, very recently, selected the combined team of Avebury Logic and DVS Solutions to design, develop and support the NMS solutions in their future projects.
