Avebury Logic developed Test Engine, an Automated Testing Tool, for the customer to alleviate this problem.

Consisting of a set of programs simulating the various events that affect the operations of the system Avebury Logic was able to test the modified software in an automated fashion. By developing Test Cases, in the magnitude of thousands, written in the Test Case Definition Language (TCDL), we were able to simulate all the input to the trading system. Our validating programs check the results automatically in the online reports to customers, disk resident databases as well as in-memory databases. Regression testing thus becomes manageable.
